Day 2 in Iceland.
The weather gods heard us and we were able to spend the day in Bláfjöll, Reykjavik’s biggest ski-area. The sun was with us and almost no wind. Perfect! The kids played true heroes. Most of our guests, both students and teachers, tried skiing and the Icelandic hosts were so good at teaching and give the guests advise in every move with a smile.
The results are victories in every turn. Some had never tried to ski, others went fore the big slope and others showed big courage by walking down with the skis on the shoulder when things got to difficult. Everybody conquered themselves in one way or the other and we are so proud of every single one in the project.
The things that shape us are the moments when we challenge ourselves. Thanks for an excellent day
